Are you as captivated as Will Smith, Reese Witherspoon, and Tom Brady seem to be with TikTok? Us too. When it comes to TikTok’s viral short-form videos, we haven’t been able to stop watching this year—most notably the DNA test challenge inspired by Lizzo’s Truth Hurts and let’s not forget Respect the drip, Karen. We’re here for it, and know you are too. Which is why we’ve updated Premiere Rush, our all-in-one, cross-device video editing app, to include the ability to directly share to TikTok, the destination for mobile videos that are guaranteed to make your day.
How it all started
Some background on Rush—we launched the all-in-one, cross-device video editing app last October to make creating and sharing online video content easier than ever. The app spans across mobile and desktop, automatically syncing all of your projects and edits to the cloud, which gives you the freedom to work anywhere, and on any device.
Shoot, edit, share
As of today, with the newest version of Rush, Adobe is announcing a partnership with TikTok, making us the first third-party app that can publish directly to TikTok. Rush has all the same amazing editing functionality you know and love—think auto-ducking, transitions and color filters, and speed ramping (timelapse and slo-mo). Plus, the ability to share to all your social channels, TikTok included, right from the app.
Shoot content on the fly when you’re out and about using the Premiere Rush app on iOS or Android, edit your content, then share away. The best part? Your videos automatically sync in the cloud and will be available on your desktop version of Rush too, should you want to take your edits even further at a later date.
Want to optimize your content?
In Rush, you can easily change the aspect ratio of your videos to Landscape, Portrait or Square, regardless of how you captured the content. Not shooting vertical videos? Editing content that’s a different aspect ratio? No problem. You can automatically export in 9:16 with the click of a button in Rush. Which is perfect since this is one of TikTok’s most popular aspect ratios.
Get started today
When we created Premiere Rush, we had you in mind: The creator. We spoke to video-makers around the world and the thing we heard over and over was a need for speed, ease, and shareability. Enter your ability to share on yet another favorite platform, TikTok. That’s in addition to Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Behance—all of which you could already share to. Basically, you can do the most, with as little effort as possible. A win in everyone’s books.
Ready to start creating? Say no more. Import your own media into Rush—think video clips and audio—and create your story. You can choose from 100s of MOGRTs, a range of color filters, and include multiple transitions. Then export away—to TikTok and more.
