Dr. Eddie Webb

Dr. Eddie Webb is an English professor at Mesa Community College (MCC), Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Webb also serves as the creator and director of the New Media Lab Experience at MCC, whose goal is to modernize the presentation of student scholarly materials. Students use the lab’s multimedia technologies and contemporary filmmaking tools to present their research while attaining new media skills in demand by journalism, business, marketing, public relations, video production and emerging industries. Dr. Webb completed his dissertation on the Adobe New Media Lab Experience in 2019. His work is being duplicated across the Maricopa District and continues to receive both national and international recognition. Dr. Webb was recognized as the 2019 Mesa Chamber of Commerce Professor of the Year. An MCC faculty member for 20 years, Dr. Webb was nominated by his students for his progressive work as an educator and mentor.
