Heather Devine

Heather Devine is a Director of Engineering in Document Cloud, delivering products that power PDF creation and consumption across mobile and web. She has been at Adobe for 20 years, working on PostScript and PDF technologies at all levels of the stack, with a deep interest in creating seamless customer experiences. Outside of Adobe, Heather serves as the Executive Director of the American Indian Library Association and on the Board of Directors for the Joint Council of Librarians of Color, two organizations who advocate for and address the needs of librarians and library/literacy services to underrepresented communities. As a member of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma, she is also interested in the intersection of cultural and language revitalization with digital technology and literacy.
