Adobe at Technical Communication Events

The Adobe Team will be presenting and exhibiting at several Technical Communication events. This is a great opportunity to meet us, and get answers to your questions. If you plan on attending any of the following events, and would like to schedule a meeting at the event venue, please let me know in advance. If you don’t plan on attending these events and would like the Adobe team to visit you to discuss your current implementation vis-a-vis Adobe’s product strategy/roadmap and future plans, then please drop me an email (ankujain at adobe dot com). We can plan a visit to your office as per your convenience, perhaps around the conference dates. Here is a partial list of conferences we plan to participate in between now and the end of 2010:

UA Europe 2010: The Conference for Software User Assistance Professionals
September 16-17, 2010; Stockholm, Sweden

Be there to spend an evening with Adobe, and attend the RoboHelp user forum, product presentation, discussion on current user assistance trends & technologies and much more.

Technical Communication UK 2010
September 21-23, 2010; Thame, Oxfordshire, UK

Technical Communication UK, the largest UK conference for technical communicators, is the annual conference that aims to meet the needs of technical communicators, their managers and clients, from every corner of the industry. I will present on “Interactive and Web 2.0 delivery mechanisms for technical documentation” at TCUK 2010. You can also attend the Captivate workshop, and catch Colum McAndrew and David Farbey in action.

The LavaCon Conference 2010: The Conference on Digital Media and Content Strategies
September 29 – October 2, 2010; San Diego, CA, USA

The LavaCon Conference 2010 focuses on how to publish and manage digital content that enhances the customer experience and promotes your company’s online brand. Social media is more than just a passing fad, it is a new communication and business paradigm. The 2010 program includes four days of breakout sessions and hands-on workshops on how to reduce costs and land new customers using social media.

RJ Jacquez, Adobe Senior Product Evangelist will deliver the Closing Keynote, and there are several sessions and workshops on Adobe technical communication products for you to take advantage of, and learn more about them.

Tekom/tcworld Conference and Trade Fair
November 3-5, 2010; Wiesbaden, Germany

The annual conference that takes place at the Rhein-Main halls in Wiesbaden in November, attracts visitors from around the world. Along with the tcworld conference and the tekom-Trade Fair, that are happening at the same time, the tekom annual conference by now is Europe’s largest event in the industry.

12th Annual STC India Conference
November 11 – 13, 2010; New Delhi, India

STC India Chapter’s annual conference aims to meet the professional needs of technical communicators, by providing a unique peer-to-peer platform for exchanging ideas and information.
