Integrating Electronic Signatures with your Website or Software

Now, by adding electronic signatures to your own company’s website or software, you can streamline and better manage digital documents — both coming in to your workflow and being sent out from it. Adobe EchoSign allows you to integrate electronic signature capability to your existing website, blog, or software with ease. The integrated solution looks and functions as part of your own website while still providing the level of trust and confidence provided by Adobe EchoSign.

For Your Website

Adobe EchoSign features the easiest signing experience in the industry and the ability to instantly send, e-sign, track, and file documents securely online. If you run your own website or blog, all you need is the EchoSign widget. It allows you to post a document or PDF form for e-signature to any page on your website with just a single line of HTML. For example, you could create a form on your website that all your partners or vendors must fill out as part of your new partner or vendor onboarding process.

Once you have an EchoSign account, all you have to do is click “Create Widget” on your Home tab and upload a document or PDF form. Then we’ll work our magic and give you the HTML code you need to drop into your website automatically. It’s as simple as that.

Once the page is set up you can point people there, and we’ll do the rest. Moments after someone e-signs your document, you (and your signers) will be e-mailed a PDF copy – and a copy will automatically be placed in your EchoSign account. EchoSign creates an easy to follow audit trail and file management system to make the process completely seamless in a fraction of the time.

For Applications

If you want to get more advanced and actually integrate EchoSign into your own web app, you can do that too. All you need is the EchoSign API.

Adobe EchoSign has prebuilt integration with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and document management systems such as Box and SharePoint – these integrations are built on the same set of API that we make available to you and your developers. For example if you wanted to incorporate electronic signatures into your financial database or with an open source CRM platform, EchoSign would provide you with a complete professional solution.

The Adobe EchoSign e-Signature Platform utilizes Web Services API for communication with external systems. Web Services is a standard, secure and scalable method of establishing communications between web-based services.

The Adobe EchoSign API requires every developer to have a unique API key allowing them to integrate their solution to EchoSign while applying EchoSign’s permission model to the data they can create or access.
