Adobe Social Brings Aviary Photo Editor to Desktop

Today’s social marketers are expected to create and distribute engaging visual content with greater speed and frequency than ever before. Text alone no longer makes the cut; recent Adobe Digital Index data shows that Facebook posts with images drive nearly 3x more interactions than those with only text.

To address these challenges, we are excited to announce the integration of the Aviary Photo Editor (part of the Adobe Creative Cloud SDK) into Adobe Social’s desktop publishing workflow. Adobe Social customers now have access to an end-to-end visual social content creation and publishing solution with powerful, easy-to-use photo editing tools.

Adobe Social users can deliver beautiful, engaging images to their audiences. And if they’re outside the office (like when traveling or at an event), Adobe Social’s latest mobile app update provides Aviary tools for those on the go.

Adobe is the only company that can unite best-in-class content creation and data analysis tools in a unified platform, to help brands deliver compelling and consistent experiences across every device and customer touch point. Adobe Social is focused on bringing this unique offering to social marketers everywhere through integrations with Adobe Creative Cloud and Marketing Cloud.

Today’s release also includes a number of features to help ensure owned social content interactions stay brand-appropriate and productive.

Create, Deliver, Measure, Repeat

Adobe Social’s lightweight desktop publisher, Publish Anywhere, can be accessed from any screen within Adobe Social, allowing social marketers to leverage the context of social performance data (or conversations) to deliver more relevant content.

Now Aviary’s full suite of photo editing tools is available right within Publish Anywhere, further streamlining content creation and distribution workflows. These tools include the ability to:

Adobe Social has also added support for rich performance insights around Facebook Photo Albums, allowing social marketers to better understand and optimize this important visual content.

Keep Social Engagement On-brand and Productive

Adobe Social customers can now moderate Facebook photo album conversations the same way they would any other social interaction, with a dedicated feed available in the Unified Moderation platform. Moderators can also now hide inappropriate Facebook comments from other users—but not delete the comment from the social user who posted it—from within Moderation. These features will help social teams keep their Facebook community and engagements safe, brand-appropriate, and productive.

Finally, as part of efforts to remain in lockstep with social network API updates, Adobe Social now supports longer Twitter Direct Messages in Moderation. This is in response to Twitter’s recent move to support up to 10,000 characters (rather than the previous 140 character limit). This will help social marketers more effectively manage customer concerns, rather than having to move them immediately to another channel.

All of these features are available now on Adobe Social. Please contact your Social Account Manager for more information!
