Digital Government Modernization: The One Thing Democrats and Republicans Can Agree On

With less than a year to go before the next presidential election, pundits and pollsters are dissecting seemingly every possible policy division for Republican and Democratic candidates.

However, the results of our Digital Government Survey show there is something that voters and candidates on both sides of the aisle agree on: digital government modernization.

As the infographic below shows, conservatives and liberals agree that more funding is needed to improve digital government tools, and 75 percent of voters are more likely to support candidates who champion investing in digital tools over candidates who don’t.

As political campaigns and private sector organizations have adopted modern digital communication capabilities, so should the government. Adobe empowers our public sector customers to deliver a cutting edge online experience every day, enabling the high-quality digital government interactions that citizens of all political affiliations deserve.
