The results are in: Here are the winners of our Adobe Photoshop #MakeItLayered compositing competition!
Digital artists across Europe showed us what they were made of during our #MakeItLayered compositing competition! We had asked you to demonstrate your outstanding creativity, and to amaze us with your unique compositing works created from the assets in our CC library. And you did!
Under the theme of ‘new beginnings’, designers from all across Europe used Creative Cloud and Adobe Photoshop to let their imaginations and creativity run free.
Our judging panel, comprising artists, digital designers, Adobe product experts and compositing masters, had the hard task of selecting their six favourites – which they are now ready to share.
Therefore, without further ado, please find our list of winners below. Congratulations to all of you, but also to everyone who took part and showed us their creativity!
The New Beginning, Michael Dietrich, Germany. Description: After each end there is an initial pause. Destruction follows creation. To follows one’s life follows life. Even from the darkest ashes rises again life. Day after day.
Garden of Eden, Estelle Chomienne Stellart, France
New Beginnings, F Javier Escorihuela, Spain. Description: When he woke up, half buried in the snow, he realized that he was surrounded by the wreckage of his plane. He seemed to be the only survivor. Each of the six winners will receive a year’s free Creative Cloud subscription, which they’ll be able to use to further their digital creativity!
Assets from the #MakeItLayered competition were created using a motorbike, a sound system and a martial artist during the CC Asset Lab stunt. Compositing artist Mario Sanchez Nevado used the assets created from the lab to create a unique work of his own, pictured below.
