CMO.com’s 2016 State Of Digital Marketing, By Industry

While it’s true that all industries are feeling the pressure from digital transformation, certain challenges, trends, and opportunities are somewhat industry-specific.

Financial services, for instance, has a very different set of digital priorities than does, say, media and entertainment. What’s important to a high-tech brand’s CMO might not be as important to a retail senior marketer. And so on.

To put some data and intelligence behind this notion, CMO.com created the “2016 State Of Digital Marketing, By Industry” infographic, which takes a look at the state of digital marketing in retail, financial services, media and entertainment, travel and hospitality, and high tech. Not to be construed as the last word on the matter, the infographic, nevertheless, offers some important information for brands within each industry.
