Earlier this year, we shipped the latest Adobe Acrobat DC integrations with Box and Microsoft OneDrive, making it easier to work with PDFs wherever they’re stored. Now organizations and individuals can open and edit PDF files from within Acrobat software, and automatically save work back to the cloud service of their choice.
Today, we’re taking this integration to the next level with an update to our iOS Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile app. By leveraging the iOS Document Picker, anyone can now take advantage of more storage options via iPhone and iPad. Select, open, and save PDFs in iCloud Drive and other document storage providers like Box, Microsoft OneDrive, and Google Drive – in addition to our native integration with Dropbox – from Acrobat Reader on your iOS device.
Here’s how to get started:
Adding a storage provider:
- Install a cloud storage app such as Box on your device.
- In Acrobat Reader mobile, tap the Location Chooser.
- Tap More Locations…
- You should see the installed app listed. The cloud storage app(s) installed on device should appear in window.
