Adobe Named to Dow Jones Sustainability World Index
For the first time, Adobe has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) World, the gold standard of corporate responsibility reporting for the investor community. Only six of 59 software companies are recognized in DJSI World, and Adobe is the only addition in 2016. We join Autodesk, CA, Microsoft, SAP, and Symantec as the industry leaders.
Adobe scored either best – or tied for best in world – in the categories of talent attraction and retention, environmental policy and management systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) – all strengthened by Adobe’s leading Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) policies and programs.
ESG integration has gone mainstream, attracting the attention of more and more investors looking for sustainability investment solutions that are connected to financial performance. Since 1999, RobecoSAM has been conducting the annual Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), which serves as the framework for measuring corporate sustainability performance and forms the research backbone for the construction of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI).
Sustainability and social impact has been an essential part of Adobe’s culture for years. Our holistic approach involves our employees and operations, customers and products, and the communities where we work and live. We are proud to be recognized by DJSI World, and are committed to preserving our leadership position through continual investments in innovative social impact initiatives.
