Donna Morris Honored as National Academy of Human Resources Fellow
Adobe’s Executive Vice President of Customer & Employee Experience Donna Morris was recently named a Fellow by the National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR), a designation that is considered among the most prestigious honors in the human resources field.
Donna was recognized for having re-imagined virtually every aspect of our employee experience in her 15 years at the company. She is perhaps best known for abolishing the annual performance review in 2012, replacing it with the “Check-in” approach of ongoing manager/employee feedback. That came at a critical juncture, as Adobe was fundamentally transforming its business model and product portfolio. This innovation helped save managers thousands of hours and led to a more agile and engaged workforce.
Donna has also been a champion for diversity and cutting-edge benefits programs to attract and retain a strong employee base. She positioned Adobe as one of the first companies to provide six months of fully paid maternity leave, and she has shaped a thriving intern and university hire program to position the company for future growth. At the opposite end of the talent spectrum, she plays a key role in ensuring that senior leaders are developed, engaged and well prepared for succession.
Donna was joined by three other newly inducted NAHR Fellows: Timothy J. Bartl, CEO and President of the Center on Executive Compensation; Peter M. Fasolo, EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer, Johnson & Johnson; and Christine M. Pambianchi, SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer, Corning.
Congratulations to Donna and all the 2017 NAHR Fellows!
