Webster University Empowers its Entire Campus Community with Adobe Creative Cloud
Webster University
When they arrived back at school after the holiday break, Webster University students discovered that the administration had made a big commitment to enhancing their digital skills, enriching their academic experiences, and improving their employment prospects. And students aren’t the only ones who will benefit.
Webster has partnered with Adobe to provide Creative Cloud to every student, faculty member, and employee across its campuses in nine countries and more than 60 locations in the U.S. The agreement will help ensure that everyone develops the digital literacy and storytelling skills that have become essential to academic and workforce success.
By learning to create images, infographics, ePortfolios, websites, podcasts, videos, and other digital media as part of their class assignments and projects, Webster’s students will engage more deeply with academic material and develop the soft skills that are most in demand in today’s workforce: creativity, critical-thinking, creative problem-solving, and collaboration.
Webster is setting up faculty and student user groups to ensure that Creative Cloud is smoothly integrated throughout classrooms and curricula. And Adobe is providing support via a wealth of teaching and learning tools, like our Adobe for Academics hub within the Adobe Education Exchange.
