Investing in our People and Workplaces
Given recent announcements involving the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, we wanted to share some of the ways we’re investing in our people and workplaces in the U.S. While we are continuing to evaluate opportunities to grow our business, we are actively expanding our campuses in the Bay Area and Utah to accommodate the growth of our employee base as part of our site expansion plan.
Our efforts to expand our San Jose, Calif. site hit a significant milestone this month with the completion of the land purchase of 333 W. San Fernando. The lot, which sits across the street from our headquarters, will house a new building that will provide capacity for 3,000 additional employees and will double our workforce in San Jose.
Other projects include adding additional capacity for 1,000 employees in Lehi, Utah, and increasing leased space in our San Francisco and Emeryville, Calif. locations.
“Adobe is growing and we’re expanding our facilities to enable us to hire talent across virtually every part of our business,” said Donna Morris, executive vice president of Customer & Employee Experience at Adobe. “We view our people as our most valuable asset and we are investing in our workplaces and beyond to continue to make Adobe an exceptional place to work.”
Aside from our site growth, Adobe has increased time off for our family leave programs, achieved pay parity for male and female employees in the U.S., and introduced new flexible work options for our employees over the past couple of years. These programs and others have helped put the company at the top of key employment lists such as Glassdoor and FORTUNE’s 40 Best Places to Work in Technology.
