Adobe a Leader in Gartner’s Inaugural Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms
Gartner has just published its first-ever Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms. We are honored to share that Adobe was identified as a Leader. Of the 21 vendors included in the Magic Quadrant, Adobe had the furthest placement in position for “completeness of vision.”
Adobe has been recognized consistently for the quality of our products and we’re proud of our track record in engineering best-of-breed products for digital marketers, and for pioneering the Marketing Cloud industry. In 2017, we took our vision to the next level when we introduced Adobe Experience Cloud, and doubled-down on our vision of helping every organization become an Experience Business.
You’ve heard it said that “the world is not enough.” In the world of the Experience Business, marketing is not enough. It’s not enough to send mail-merge emails with the recipient’s full name at the top, or to simply recognize a returning user to your website, or even to provide special offers to Disneyland for customers with kids. That’s marketing. And it’s not enough.
Today, consumers demand (and deserve) amazing experiences. These experiences are smart because they’re always learning. And they’re designed to delight at every turn so people keep coming back.
To deliver, you have to gather all the data, consider all the options, assemble all the content, anticipate the next want, and deliver it right now, in real time, in the moment that matters, in the place that’s relevant, with no friction, and then you have do it all again (and again and again), but each time you do it, you have to do it even better. If you can’t or won’t do all that, your customers will quickly find someone who will.
That’s where the bar is, and to reach it, old marketing tools, old data gathering and wrangling systems, old outdated, fractured and disparate technology just doesn’t cut it. You have to make it an amazing experience, this time and every time, and to do that you need Adobe Experience Cloud.
With Adobe Experience Cloud, including Adobe Experience Platform, companies accelerate their ability to function as Experience Businesses. These companies can now centralize and standardize customer data and content from any system (especially Adobe solutions)—creating powerfully cohesive and actionable insights and profiles. Applying the Platform’s data science framework to these data and content assets dramatically improves the design, personalization and delivery of rich customer experiences. The Platform includes services for combining and analyzing data and harnesses machine learning via Adobe Sensei to amplify organization’s abilities and efficiency.
The Adobe Experience Platform also makes its data, content, and insights available via APIs to partners and third-party applications for them to consider and act upon in real-time—driving consistent, continuous and compelling experiences in the relevant moment—no matter the tool or service.
Adobe removes the friction from experience creation and delivery. Adobe Experience Cloud leverages all data types to create a truly unified customer profile, and then makes that profile available in real-time to a comprehensive set of cloud services designed to give enterprises everything they need to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Sensei, Adobe’s AI and ML framework, fuels the unified profile and empowers our data platform to process data, distribute insights, infer intent, and fill in missing information faster & more effectively than any other system. No one else has the breadth of assets, the quality of data, and the targeted AI capabilities that Adobe has to make the Experience Business a reality.
