The 2018 ExBE Awards Session and Gala at Summit

Inspirational Success Stories from Adobe Target Customers.

Every year, customers like you wow us by how they’re using Adobe Target, the leading digital intelligence solution, to create incredible business impact for their organization. And as we have for the last few years, we’ve held a contest in which Adobe Target customers submit their stories of this innovation and success.

This year, our customers submitted their stories in two categories of the Adobe Experience Business Excellence Awards (ExBE) contest: Excellence in AI-powered Personalization and Excellence in Business Impact Through Optimization. As the award names suggest, these categories honor our customers who creatively and successfully used the artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities of Adobe Target in their personalization activities or used Adobe Target to optimize and create a significant positive impact on their business.

We are thrilled to announce the winners this year were media powerhouse Sky UK for AI-Powered Personalization and the de facto language learning company Rosetta Stone for Business Impact through Optimization.

Sky UK leveraged machine learning in Target to multiply the value of its understanding of key business personas by delivering personalized recommendations to those personas across various touchpoints. Rosetta Stone used Adobe Target to smoothly transition its entire business model from selling its iconic yellow boxes of language learning software to a subscription-as-a-service (SaaS) model — a journey we at Adobe embarked on just a few years ago.

We were honored to see how Adobe Target played an important role in both of these success stories.

Sky UK and Rosetta Stone recognized at the ExBE Gala

We didn’t want to keep these successes to ourselves, so we were pleased to recognize Sky UK and Rosetta Stone in front of hundreds of attendees at our ExBE Gala, a red-carpet event emceed by none other than comedian extraordinaire Preacher Lawson.

All contest finalists share their success stories in a top-rated Summit session

But as we do each year, we also held an Adobe Summit session that allowed our finalists and winners to explain their success stories in more detail to an audience of their peers. Finalists included companies from manufacturing, retail, B2C software, B2B software, and media and entertainment. If you attended, you heard how a major B2B software company used Adobe Target to execute its account-based marketing (ABM) strategy, how a retailer used Adobe Target to evaluate the impact of introducing a new website feature, and many more inspirational stories of success.

I had the great privilege of hosting this session, Personalization Tales from Experience Business Awards Finalists, which has become one of our most popular Personalization Track sessions. Thanks to the amazing stories from our customers, the session was ranked in the top 3 for the track this year. If you were unable to attend, we’ve made sure you can access all these great stories — just watch the video recording of the session here.
