OFFF to La La Land: Top 30 voter wins a trip to Adobe MAX in LA
Lara Aderhold (@PhotosbyLA) from Germany will be jetting off to LA for Adobe MAX, the Creativity Conference, courtesy of Adobe – after voting for her favourite image in the recent ‘Top 30 Challenge’ at OFFF Barcelona. The competition was created to keep the creative fires burning from one event to the other by enabling our esteemed panel of artists to design a series of images encouraging great art based on popular Adobe Stock search terms for the city. These were then voted on by our creative community who were offered a chance to win a trip to Adobe MAX in October 2018.
At OFFF Barcelona, our 16 strong team of artists were split into groups of four to create images for ‘Barcelona Beach’, ‘Barcelona Lifestyle’, ‘Barcelona Architecture’ and ‘Barcelona Street’. From using water-colours to graphic design our creatives re imagined Barcelona in the spirit of the Visual Trend, multilocalism, creating artworks which combined local authenticity with global appeal.
On why she chose Team Street as her favourite image, Lara said “I chose Team Street’s image because it expresses so much. It shows the roughness and imperfection of a streetscape in a detailed yet simple way.”
As the winning voter, Lara will get to attend Adobe Max in LA, alongside some of the world’s best creatives as well as some of the creative team who were at OFFF in Barcelona; including artists Alek Szmytko, AKUsepp and Musketon, illustrators Perci Chen, Mariana Rodrigues and the photographer Tobi Shinobi, to name just a few.
