Hollywood is mighty entertaining. Here at Adobe, we are constantly blown away by the creative minds in the industry. We’ve been sassed by an unlikely superhero in Deadpool. We’ve been moved by an intimate portrait of the great Ruth Bader Ginsburg in RBG. We’ve laugh-cried at Portlandia and Our Cartoon President. We’ve braved the tough love of Atlanta’s impenetrable music scene. From MINDHUNTER to Stranger Things to Gone Girl, Hail, Caesar!, Only the Brave, The Florida Project, and more_,_ Adobe Creative Cloud users in Hollywood have kept us on the edge of our seats and inspired us beyond belief. And now it’s time for us to be there for the post-production community in a bigger way than we ever have before.

With more Hollywood productions relying on Creative Cloud tools to get the job done, we’re cutting the ribbon on our first office dedicated to the unique needs of the entertainment industry. The expanded office space will be home to an Adobe team committed to providing the type of professional-level support that the industry demands. Culver City is already home to Magento Commerce, recently acquired by Adobe.

The new office space, located in downtown Santa Monica, features a state-of-the-art editing suite, which will offer video professionals a place to experiment, learn and connect with Adobe’s Hollywood team. The facility is dedicated to delivering tools directly into the hands of the editor, gathering feedback on how to make these tools even more seamless, and deepening our relationships with the post-production community.

In May, we kicked off our new Customer Advisory Board, bringing together a consortium of top editors and post specialists to provide ongoing feedback about what they require in their workflow tools so we can develop our technology to exceed those needs. Apps like Premiere Pro CC, After Effects CC and Audition CC have evolved exponentially thanks to direct input from editors, directors, post-production supervisors and assistants. Now, with this new space, we can push the envelope even further.

“Our mission is to give editors the tools that can help bring their artistic vision to life,” said Steve Warner, vice president of digital and audio at Adobe. “What better way to meet that goal than to talk to the professionals who are creating cutting-edge entertainment every day. We take feedback to heart and are excited to create a dedicated Adobe home in Los Angeles, where we can work side-by-side with the post-production community and better support each other.”

We can’t wait to open our doors to Hollywood! For those who can’t visit us in person, you can still access tutorials, customer testimonials, and interviews on our Inside Hollywood’s Cutting Rooms playlist on the Adobe Creative Cloud YouTube channel. Either way, come unleash your creativity with us – we’re ready for “Action!”
