Adobe Partners at IBC Show 2018
New microsite shines the light on efficient workflow solutions from Adobe’s technology partners at IBC.
Adobe’s robust Video and Audio Partner Community has always been a source of pride for our company, and it continues to grow and gain momentum here at IBC 2018. The exploding demand for content means that our customers demand smarter tools and seamless workflows. Workflow doesn’t end with the products and services that Adobe provides, and our open API approach with our partners has delivered some of the most innovative and integrated solutions in the industry. We wanted to provide a showcase for our partners on Adobe.com so that it would be easy for our customers to discover and learn more about the available solutions. So… drumroll please…The Adobe Partner team is really excited to announce our new Adobe Video & Audio Partner Finder Microsite.
The site goes live today, September 12, just in time for IBC Show 2018.
With over 110 partners on the show floor, it’s difficult to mention all of the innovative workflow solutions our partner ecosystem brings to the broadcast community, but I’d like to highlight a few of the interesting technologies that our partners are announcing at IBC.
Virtualized environments are becoming a trend that Adobe customers are moving toward to streamline productions and reduce costs. BeBop Technology is one of our partners that can now offer a seamless user experience in the cloud for creatives utilizing Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other Creative Cloud applications. You can view this demonstration in the Google Booth 14.E01.
Many Adobe customers have the need to work with proxy files to increase productivity with globally dispersed teams. Limited bandwidth can impact the ability to send large, high-resolution files between workgroups. Adobe Partners like Cantemo (Booth # 7.D67) are bringing solutions into Adobe Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC through their integrated panels. They’ll be showcasing improvements of an existing integration with the addition of proxy workflows between iconik, their cloud-based video management hub, and Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
Increasing production efficiencies and streamlining workflows are where our partners really shine. Moov-IT (Booth # 7.A35), our integration partner based in Germany, is showcasing their product, Helmut FX, a tool that simplifies production management by integrating everything directly into your existing workflow and communicating with all your connected systems such as ingest, archive, backup, and your asset management infrastructure.
Integration with industry-leading color grading solutions is important for our Colorist, DIT, and Cinematographer customers. We’re very excited about Codex’s new integration of their new innovative and award-winning ColorSynth color grading solution, with Adobe Premiere CC, along with the Codex Keys control surface, to redefine and enhance the color grading experience within Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe After Effects. You can see this new integration in Codex booth 7.A55.
As Adobe’s toolset becomes “smarter” with Adobe Sensei-enabled features like Auto-Ducking in Audition and Premiere Pro or Color Match in the Lumetri panel in Premiere Pro, many of our partners are also developing AI-powered integrations with our applications. GrayMeta (Booth # 7.D53) is announcing their integration of their metadata plug-in for Premiere Pro, which enables users to take advantage of deep insights created by artificial intelligence and machine learning. The metadata from those insights makes it possible to build content more efficiently in Premiere.
Adobe continues to embrace standards such as IMF to service the needs of a global audience with localized content. Adobe’s partnership with Marquise Technologies (booth #7.D49) has resulted in the development of an IMF Importer, which is now natively integrated into Adobe Premiere Pro CC, allowing editors to import IMF packages for further editing within their Premiere Pro environment. IMF Importer supports multiple CPLs and supplemental packages in App 2/2e (Studio Profile).
Accusonus has licensed its patented single-channel noise and reverb removal technology to Adobe, and it will be included in Premiere Pro CC, Audition CC, and Project Rush. Accusonus’ Enhancement and Repair of Audio (ERA) bundle of single-knob audio plug-ins has been tested and is fully compatible with Premiere Pro CC and Audition CC. You’ll be able to view this at the Adobe booth.
