Sign Me Up: How Adobe Document Cloud is Helping Enterprises Transform the Digital Enrollment Process
As a longtime fan of the Golden State Warriors, I’ve watched our scrappy, local NBA team transform itself into repeat world champions and a world-class entertainment company. And I couldn’t be happier that Adobe is partnering with them as they continue their transformation.
The Warriors chose Adobe Sign as their e-signature solution to provide a streamlined, digital season-ticketing process for their tech-savvy fans. And as the team prepares to move from Oracle Arena in Oakland to the brand-new Chase Center in San Francisco next year, they’re working on moving their season ticketholders with them.
With Adobe Sign, the Warriors complete upwards of 40 season ticket membership contracts a day, reducing processing time from weeks to just hours. Fans can use any device to select seats, choose a payment plan, accept financial terms and sign their membership contract – making the whole process easier and even more reliable than a Steph Curry 3-pointer.
“In the San Francisco Bay Area, there is a lot of competition for our fans’ attention,” says John Beaven, Vice President Ticket Sales and Services, Golden State Warriors. “Looking ahead to the Chase Center move, we decided to cut through the noise and try to establish an authentic, personal connection with every fan, and make every interaction exceptional.”
We’re seeing enterprises, across industries, try to unlock that very question: how to cut through the noise, delight their customers and differentiate themselves from the competition.
At Adobe, we know the answer is providing exceptional digital experiences – including a great digital enrollment experience. And as the world’s leading document platform, Adobe Document Cloud is uniquely positioned to help enterprises deliver those experiences and drive business efficiency at the same time.
The (Aloha) state of digital transformation
The State of Hawaii is a great example of how government agencies can engage their constituents with exceptional digital experiences.
Officials from the Aloha state chose Adobe Sign as their solution for Hawaii’s eSign Services, a key component of their digital transformation initiative. In addition to reducing paper usage, to the tune of 24,000 pages of paper a day, new digital processes allow the government to work on bigger goals – including communicating more effectively across the islands and delivering citizen services as effectively as possible.
For example, the state has reduced the time to complete new hire paperwork by 80 percent. The Hawaii Department of Health uses Adobe Sign to manage immunization forms for 180,000 K-12 students, allowing parents and guardians to sign the annual forms electronically. And over the last three years, the state has delivered more than 400,000 electronic documents and saved $5 million by reducing printing and labor costs associated with signing paper documents.
State officials told us that Adobe solutions allow them to work smarter and solve problems in new ways – and ultimately transform how they provide their citizens with faster, more effective services.
Banking on better customer experiences
We’re also partnering with leading banks and financial services companies as they go digital and seek to provide customers with faster, better services. And we see a lot more opportunity to serve the needs of this financial services industry.
In a recent study, Adobe and eConsultancy found that more than 30 percent of financial services companies hadn’t started the digital transformation process yet or were still in the early stages. This means that a lot of customers are still using a pen and paper to apply for a credit card, open a checking account or fill out a loan application. This is not only inefficient, but each time a manual, paper-based step is required it increases the chances that a customer will abandon the process and potentially take their business elsewhere.
We’re thrilled to see how our banking and financial services customers are using Adobe Document Cloud to deliver exceptional customer experiences, decrease drop-off rates in the enrollment process, gain visibility and insights via analytics, and reduce legal and security risks.
One of our banking customers is now able to complete the loan document process seven times faster – going from more than two weeks to less than two days – freeing them up to do more business and increasing their lending by more than $20 million a year.
Enterprising opportunities
We see many opportunities for enterprises like SunTrust Bank to use the power of Adobe Document Cloud to transform their business practices.
This week at Summit we’ll get a glimpse of how Adobe Experience Cloud and Adobe Sensei are helping SunTrust Bank deliver targeted, digital experiences to their customers – and we’ll lay out our vision of how Adobe Document Cloud can further streamline the bank’s mortgage application process (think: no paper).
It’s great to be at Adobe Summit, where it’s all about the latest strategies and insights to create exceptional customer experiences. And I’ll also be cheering on the Golden State Warriors in their game tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies. Go Dubs!
