Adobe Receives 2020 CSO50 Award from IDG’S CSO
The CSO50 Awards recognizes 50 organizations for security projects and initiatives that demonstrate outstanding business value and thought leadership. The CSO50 Awards are scored according to a uniform set of criteria by a panel of judges that includes security leaders, industry experts and academics. Adobe will be recognized again at the CSO50 Conference + Awards for its tool called MAVLink.
As one of the first companies to commit to the cloud, Adobe needed a way to keep our security hygiene levels up as we support rapid development cycles. As part of this effort, we developed an internal tool called MAVLink. MAVLink enables us to collect and analyze security data from our cloud infrastructure providers, provide context for application and log data sources, and collect evidence of security controls to make the best decisions possible to help keep Adobe and our customers safe from threats.
“The stakes could not be higher for security professionals, with cyberattacks continuing to attract board-level attention and cost organizations dearly in business disruption and reputational damage, among other costs,” said Amy Bennett, executive editor of CSO. “Our annual CSO50 Awards shine a light on security teams that take an innovative approach to enhancing their organization’s security posture and driving business results. This year’s winners represent an elite group of thought leaders in the security field and we are pleased to give them the recognition they deserve.”
We would like to thank the CSO50 Awards selection committee for this recognition and our application security team members that develop and evolve MAVLink as it’s an important component of our cloud security infrastructure.
