Truth be told, sticking to 15 stats was downright challenging. From spending forecasts, to evolving channels and technologies, to the future of work, here are the numbers that stood out for us most in terms of digital trends in 2020—and beyond.

  1. Ad spend is set to grow 6% to $656 billion in 2020, driven in part by the U.S. presidential election and the Olympic Games. For the first time, spending on Internet ads is expected to make up more than half of all global spend. (Source: WARC)
