Today a small group of users will become the first Adobe Creative Cloud members to find Beta versions of the Adobe video and audio apps available in the Creative Cloud Desktop app. This marks the start of a public Beta program which will roll out incrementally over the coming months, until it is available to all Creative Cloud members.

Public Beta provides an opportunity to engage directly in product development, allowing interested users to test new fixes and features before they are released and share their feedback with the Adobe product teams. The program includes Beta builds of Premiere Pro, Premiere Rush, After Effects, Audition, Character Animator, and Media Encoder.

The public Beta will roll out gradually on a random basis. When you’re added, you will see a “Beta apps” tab in the Creative Cloud Desktop app. Beta builds install separately from release builds and have their own user preferences. You can run them side by side with your release versions. New Beta builds are released frequently, sometimes even daily, but you can install them when you choose — once, regularly, or never.

Public Beta is an important part of our commitment to deliver world-class applications that run across a wide range of system configurations. Whether you choose to participate or not, all users will benefit from an expanded test base and user feedback during product development.
