Adobe Document Cloud Initiates Government Rapid Response Program
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been talking to our government customers about how we can help them keep government moving during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now more than ever, people are looking to government agencies and programs for essential support and resources. Government agencies are rising to the challenge and working hard to deliver uninterrupted services, even when offices are closed and many employees are working from home.
Ensuring that government functions can continue while keeping safe distances is critical right now. Signature, approval, and collaboration processes that require paper forms and printouts simply don’t work when people aren’t in the office. To fill this urgent gap, Adobe has established initiatives to help governments adapt including a Government Rapid Response program to assist them with maintaining stability and continuity for their employees and constituents.
Adobe has been working directly with government agencies including the State of Iowa and State of Utah on digital programs to help their employees and citizens impacted by COVID-19. Iowa just launched a new Iowa Small Business Relief Program to support small businesses during this time. The application for small business grants and/or tax deferrals utilizes Adobe Sign. Multiple departments across the State of Utah are also relying on Adobe Sign to keep signature and approval processes moving as employees practice social distancing in their offices or while working from home.
Here are the important ways that the Adobe Document Cloud team is offering its full support to government agencies in these unprecedented times:
- Complementary Telework Webinars: With social distancing and stay-at-home orders spread across the nation and the world, agencies are moving as quickly as possible to let their employees work remotely. Join our free webinar series, “Telework Strategies for Government Continuity,” to get practical, immediately useful strategies and tools to enable your remote workforce with easy-to-use, all-digital workflows. Webinar speakers will include Adobe experts on Adobe Sign and Adobe Acrobat DC, as well as government leaders on the front lines of the COVID-19 efforts like the City of Seattle.
- Rapid Response Resource Hub: For government IT administrators, it’s all about getting up and running as quickly as possible. They can quickly respond to urgent challenges with step-by-step use case recipes and quick start learning videos. The recipes include sending telework agreements to employees in batch, self-serve web forms for timesheets or time-off approvals, as well as predefined workflows for use cases like emergency procurement requests. Visit here for the recipes and videos.
- Government-oriented programs: We kick started a number of programs for our customers—including government agencies—that will offer continued access to our products. For Document Cloud Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA) customers, we’re eliminating additional license charges for 60 days. We’re also extending the renewal grace period to 60 days for our Document Cloud enterprise customers in our Value Incentive Plan (VIP). Our own team members have extra flexibility to help new and existing customers meet their most urgent requirements. To find out more, visit our COVID government resources page or call your Adobe account manager.
- Rapid response team: We realize that government agencies may not have all the expertise and manpower they need to adapt quickly, which is why our government rapid response team is helping agencies fill the gap. Expert consultants are available to help with tasks ranging from strategic planning, to rapid configuration, and template or workflow creation. With the ability to bring the full suite of Adobe capabilities and services to bear on identified problems, the rapid response team is committed to helping agencies empower teleworkers and continue delivering mission critical services.
