Adobe Named a Best Employer for Women by Forbes

Today Forbes released their annual list of America’s Best Employers for Women, and we are proud to announce that Adobe has been recognized among the 300 companies listed! The list was compiled after an intensive survey taken between March and April 2020, and touched over 75,000 Americans with respondents spanning 31 industries.

Recognized for our culture, opportunities for career development, image, working conditions, fair-pay practices, and diversity, we are anchored by our core values and dedication to create opportunities for all. It is an honor to be recognized by Forbes as a leader in the workplace for women, but equally as valuable to be surrounded by such empowering and creative women. Here are just a few examples of the colleagues that make up Adobe.

Adobe WE

To demonstrate our commitment for women at Adobe and to share valuable career advice for all women in the workplace, earlier this year we released a video series called Adobe WE. The Adobe Women Executive Leadership series featured candid conversations among female leaders at Adobe about topics of importance to us all, such as navigating your career, building influence and exercising your seat at the table. Today, we release the final episode, Adobe WE: Rise.

Featuring Mala Sharma (VP Creative Cloud, Product Marketing), Maria Yap (VP, Digital Imaging), and Janice Boss (Sr. Director, Worldwide GTM Operations), the final episode reveals helpful ways to offer your perspective in meetings, how to leverage introversion as a superpower, and tips for generating actionable feedback to build your career.

“Adobe does more than lip service when it comes to supporting women. It’s easy to say that you do, but it’s another to truly have policies and a culture that supports it. I don’t think I appreciated it very much before I became a mom—I was given the chance to lead a fairly high level and strategic initiative immediately upon my return. There was no assumption made that I would not be able to take on something of that nature because I now had a child to take care of. My manager at the time checked in with me to make sure I was doing okay, but never once doubted my ability to execute nor thought I had diminished capacity in my ability to take on work from being a parent.
