We are excited to announce the launch of Adobe Creative Educator – a professional development badging and community for educators in every subject area and grade level. Whether teachers are new to digital media or have taught elements of design and digital storytelling, Adobe Creative Educator explores how to instruct and evaluate creativity across the curriculum.
How to become an Adobe Creative Educator
Becoming an Adobe Creative Educator is simple. First, educators must take the Creativity for All Level 1 course on The Adobe Education Exchange. This course navigates definitions of creativity, what it looks like in different subject areas, the iterative creative process, and ways to assess creativity. Once educators have completed the Level 1 course, they are asked to complete a learning artifact: a graphic. This graphic is a teacher’s creativity manifesto which answers the prompt, How will you support your students’ creativity? Or What is your goal as a creative educator?
Once applicants have submitted their graphic, they’ll receive their Adobe Creative Educator Level 1 Badge and an exclusive Adobe Creative Educator digital toolkit. This toolkit includes a deck of creativity prompt cards, an interactive poster to help track the creative process, social media overlays, background photos, and more! Get the sneak peek of the Adobe Creative Educator digital toolkit here.
We’re excited to grow the Adobe Creative Educator community! Start your journey as an Adobe Creative Educator by enrolling in the Level 1 course today.

As we continue to grow our Adobe Creative Educator program, you can continue to access and contribute to the conversation at any time through using the #AdobeEduCreative on Twitter. We are amazed by the collaboration of educators around the world. Now more than ever, it is so important to continue expanding our professional learning community as most educators continue with distance learning for the upcoming academic year. We are better together as we navigate these new educational environments.
If you’re looking for more ways to connect with the international Adobe Creative Educator community, be sure to join us for our weekly livestream on Adobe for Education Facebook Channel every Thursday at 12:30pm – 1:30pm PT / 3:30pm – 4:00pm ET. Each week, we interview a different educator and walk through the creative process of Define, Create, and Reflect for various topics.
In addition to our upcoming livestream shows, we’re also working on a Level 2 Badge coming soon during back-to-school 2020! This badge will focus on how to infuse creativity into the instructional design process, with more in-depth professional development resources and experiences.
Here at Adobe, we want to thank you for all that you do to inspire creativity in students and fellow educators. We know that this year has been a tumultuous one, and we want to provide a community of support. Educators are so innovative and inspirational, which has become even more evident during the transition to distance learning. Together, we are better.
