How Customer Success Program Manager Intern, Kyle Alvarez, is Driving Value with Customers

This year, Adobe is proud to welcome more than 700 interns across the globe for our first ever virtual internship program. It’s been a blast welcoming our interns to their #AdobeLife, and seeing the incredible impact they’re making. To give you a peak into their internship, we’ll be featuring our Adobe Interns from across the business and across the world.

Read on to learn how Kyle Alvarez is helping to prevent millions of dollars in possible attrition with his summer project at Adobe.

Which University are you currently enrolled in & what is your internship title?

I am currently attending Boston College, and I am an Associate Customer Success Program Manager Intern.

What attracted you to join Adobe?

There are a lot of things that attracted me to Adobe, but I think the biggest thing was the culture. When interviewing and learning more about Adobe, it became apparent that the people here and the communities that are in place make the company special, and it compelled me to want to be a part of the Adobe team.

What is your main project this summer?

My main project this summer is a workshop focused on customer retention for the Digital Experience Territory for the customer success team. This project has consisted of a few smaller sections that include a skills assessment readout and resource recommender to guide CSMs to the right teams. All these projects in conjunction will help to prevent millions of dollars in possible attrition risk and help CSMs have a better understanding of how to help their customers realize value with Adobe solutions. Preparing for this workshop has allowed me to get a better understanding of the Adobe Experience Cloud Business, the Customer Success team, and the incredible Adobe ecosystem CSMs work with to support driving partnership, adoption and value with Adobe customers.

How has it been like being a virtual intern?

So far, the Adobe University Talent Team and my team have done an incredible job of making this virtual experience great! While it is a different experience than internships I have had in the past, there are so many fun events for us to be a part of and people have been so welcoming. Whether it be virtual challenges utilizing Adobe Creative Clouds tools, intern Slack channels, or mixer events, there are always new ways to connect with fellow interns. Everyone I have had the pleasure of speaking with has been so passionate about their work and super friendly. While it may not be the most “traditional” internship, it has shown me just how much Adobe invests in its employees and their growth.
