Work smarter: Tapping into the power of AI and NVIDIA GPUs to boost creativity

Showing the power of AI in creating 3d images

During the first-ever virtual Adobe MAX, running from October 20-22, creators from all around the world will learn how to take full advantage of AI technologies across Adobe creative applications, powered by Adobe Sensei and NVIDIA RTX GPUs.

Graphic artists, video editors, motion graphics professionals, Photoshop experts, concept artists, and other creators will leave with valuable information and tips, including how to improve their creations with more precision, clarity, and quality.

With NVIDIA RTX and Adobe Sensei AI doing the work under the hood, creators have more time to create. During Adobe MAX, virtual attendees can learn how AI technology is built. They can also discover how the NVIDIA Studio ecosystem of hardware and software is supercharging creativity.

Join NVIDIA for the session Working Smarter: Tapping into the Power of AI to Boost Creativity on Wednesday, October 21 from 11:00-11:30am Pacific. Also, check out quick on-demand tips and tricks videos on accelerating video editing workflows and easily transitioning from a 2D pro into a photorealistic 3D wizard. More information is in the Adobe MAX Tutorial Hub.

GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs amp up AI

GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs use AI to dramatically speed up creative tasks, giving creators more time to focus on what matters: creating amazing content. These new graphics cards deliver faster ray tracing and the next generation of AI-powered tools, turning the tedious tasks in creative workflows into things of the past.

The power of Adobe Sensei AI in Creative Cloud applications helps reduce, or even eliminate, manual tasks such as image denoising, reframing and retiming video, and the creation of textures and materials.

Adobe Premiere Pro and Rush both feature Auto Reframe, powered by Adobe Sensei to automatically frame the most important part of shots when adjusting aspect ratios for social media. Scene Edit Detection in Premiere Pro detects and tags cuts in previously edited video, eliminating the need to search through a rendered project and manually reapply cuts.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom uses the power of AI to sharpen images with the Enhance Image tool, providing crisp image quality for even faster, high-quality photo editing.

Substance Sampler recently added AI to its Image to Material feature, enabling artists to create realistic 3D textures from photos of real-world surfaces. NVIDIA RTX GPUs accelerate this as well as the Delighter feature, another AI-powered tool that simplifies the tedious task of removing baked-in shadows.

Adobe Dimension uses AI for fast denoising, which reduces visual noise in 3D images and uses the GPU to speed up render times for a more intuitive creative experience.

Create faster

In addition to the time-savings delivered by AI, GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs add performance in hardware-accelerated creative workflows.

Adobe Premiere Pro has long offered significant acceleration for real-time ultra-high-res playback, enabled by the powerful CUDA cores of NVIDIA GPUs. A recent update added GPU-accelerated encoding using the dedicated hardware encoder on GeForce and Quadro graphics cards, delivering high-resolution exports up to 5x faster than by just using the CPU.

A 3d designer software and Substance Painter leverage the power of RTX ray tracing for baking of Ambient Occlusion from Mesh, Bent Normals, Curvature from Mesh, and Thickness Map from Mesh, providing more accuracy and much faster speeds.

Adobe Dimension uses RTX ray tracing to dramatically speed up rendering of 3D environments. Witness dynamic lighting, beautiful reflections, and soft shadows — all without the wait.

The acceleration never stops. Whether it’s video editing, motion graphics, photo editing, graphic design, or 3D, NVIDIA GPUs are always there to make your experience better. Many more Adobe apps, including After Effects, Media Encoder, Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Fresco, are also accelerated by NVIDIA RTX GPUs. And our teams work together constantly to find new ways to keep making creativity simpler, faster, and better.

For power users, GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs offer up to 24GB of blazing-fast GDDR6X memory powering the most demanding multi-app workflows. These include 8K HDR video editing and modeling highly detailed geometry and extra-large 3D scenes.
