Take a fantastic voyage: Reimagining creativity and the power of imagination with Photoshop

“Everything you can imagine is real.” – Pablo Picasso

When Spanish artist Pablo Picasso spoke these famous words more than 70 years ago, he couldn’t have predicted at the time how true they would ring in the digital world we live in today. Indeed, we now have the ability to bring to life the greatest depths of our imaginations, and tools like Photoshop let us do just that.

It’s safe to say, however, that for the first half of its life, Photoshop, which turned 30 this past February, was primarily a tool for creative professionals to create visual effects in photography, film, web design and more. But the growth of digital has changed all of that. No longer just a tool for professionals, today anyone can use Photoshop to create. And we see this come to life in our everyday lives.

#CreativityForAll

From Tiktok videos, to Instagram Stories and Snapchat filters, we’re living in an age where sharing your story is not only common, but expected. This is precisely why we’ve been hard at work at Adobe, reimagining the possibilities with Photoshop. In November of 2019, when we released Photoshop for iPad and Photoshop Camera, we extended our most powerful creative tool beyond laptops and into the pockets of millions.

At Adobe, we believe that creativity isn’t something that just lives inside a select few. Anyone can be creative, and creativity is all around us. It’s what connects us to one another, and allows us to tell stories by bringing our imagination and ideas to life. This film has been recognized for its visual effects with a Silver Lion at the 2021 Cannes Creativity Festival.

Everyone has a story to tell. Let Photoshop help you tell yours.
