Adobe Sign customer video: Saddle Up and Read

There’s a reason this kid (above) is reading to a horse. In North Carolina, only 36% of fourth graders are proficient readers. Caitlin Gooch wanted to help change that, so she started Saddle Up and Read, a non-profit that aims to give children a safe space to read and incentivizes them with free horse rides. When kids come out and read to the horses they focus. They want the horse to know the story that they are reading, they want to show them the pictures, and it really encourages them to finish the book. Gooch also prides herself on sourcing books with diverse main characters so everyone can relate, and kids are inspired to be whatever they want to be. She uses Adobe Sign for waivers and consent forms to visit her property and participate with the animals.
