What do Gwyneth Paltrow, David Tennant, Naomie Harris, Zendaya, and Joe Wicks have in common? Well, they will all be part of the star-studded line-up at this year’s Adobe MAX, the world’s largest creativity conference.

At this time of year, we’d usually be flocking to Los Angeles along with 15,000 of the world’s leading creative minds and brands who would pay to be inspired and to connect with like-minded individuals.

Of course, circumstances dictate that between 20th-22nd October, we’re swapping the Hollywood hills for a virtual, three-day, festival of creativity. That’s 56 hours of continuous inspiration, learning and entertainment…. completely free to attend. Anyone who registers will be hearing from some of the most respected, inspiring and renowned creatives from across Europe and beyond.

This year’s theme, ‘All Together Now’, reflects how we’re bringing people together at a time when we physically need to be apart. We’re welcoming our most diverse and widespread audience ever, ranging from students to freelancers, world-famous creatives to multi-disciplined professionals, and everyone in between, from every corner of the globe; and our European dedicated sessions are going to make some serious waves.

Aside from announcing the latest Creative Cloud product updates and innovations, presenting exclusive musical performances from Marshmello and Woodkid, and featuring interviews with world-class celebrities – including Annie Leibovitz, Wes Anderson, and Stanley Tucci– we’ll be hearing from some of Europe’s most distinctive and fascinating creative minds, global stars in their own right, and each with captivating stories, experiences, and learnings to share.

I recently had the privilege of visiting the HQ of UK fitness brand Gymshark – the UK’s fastest-growing company – to speak with chief brand officer Noel Mack. It was fascinating to see first-hand how their content-led approach is helping build brand experiences and create thriving social communities both on and offline.

Noel joins an unrivalled line-up of renowned faces from across the European creative stage; pioneering typographer Erik Spiekermann, entrepreneurial duo Izzy Wheels, world-famous content creator Jeremy Lynch, film-maker and music executive Jamal Edwards, and conceptual photographer Rich McCor (aka Paperboyo), to name a few.

Creative inspiration is at the heart of MAX and this year will be no exception as we’ll be supporting our thriving creative community in developing new skills, with a series of 400 breakout sessions.

And while replicating an in-person experience is no mean feat, we are doing our best to deliver the magic of MAX with initiatives such as a large-scale collaborative art project and virtual walks to celebrate in cities around the world. Anyone who has been to MAX will be familiar with the MAX Marketplace where you can explore and purchase impressive work from the creative community. This year the virtual marketplace will feature over 50 stores, with ten of them spotlighting European artists and creators.

So, come join us at this year’s MAX, an unmissable celebration of creativity, community and entertainment; I hope the stories you hear, the learnings you take, and the connections you make, will provide a source of encouragement, inspiration, and motivation during what has proved to be a challenging year for so many.
