Introducing Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 & Premiere Elements 2021
Powered by Adobe Sensei AI as your creative sidekick, Elements 2021 enables you to easily edit, create, organise, and share your photos and videos – bringing your imagination to life.
Today the Elements team is excited to announce the release of Photoshop Elements 2021 & Premiere Elements 2021. This latest release makes it even easier for you to follow your creative inspiration where it leads.
This year, we’re continuing to build on powerful automation and guided editing features you’ve come to expect from Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements. Leveraging Adobe Sensei AI technology, we’re streamlining organisation and editing capabilities for both veteran and novice Elements users.
Let’s dive into what’s new and enhanced for these releases.
Add motion to your static images with Moving Photos
Static images are great. Static images with the appearance of motion, even better. This year we’re introducing the ability to transform your favourite shots into moving photos with just one click. Powered by Adobe Sensei, you can easily create fun, animated GIFs with 2D and 3D camera motion and then impress your family and friends as they marvel at your skills.
Fine-tune portrait and group shots with Adjust Face Tilt
Over the years we’ve introduced numerous features that help with those occasional moments where something just isn’t right. From closed eyes to a missed smile in a group shot, Elements has come to the rescue. Adjust Face Tilt is this year’s addition to this category of edits. This Sensei powered feature helps you ensure that everyone in your photo is looking in the right direction by automatically adjusting the position of a person’s face.
Enhance your photos with customisable Quote Graphics
We all need a little inspiration – especially in 2020 – and this year we’re adding the ability to easily create Quote Graphics within Elements. Add motivational quotes or personalised messages to your pics with pre-set templates, tons of customisation, and cool animation options.
Make precise video selections with Select Object
Select a specific object—or area—of your video and easily apply an effect that tracks throughout the video. This is one feature that will save anyone working with video content a lot of time.
More power with GPU Accelerated Performance
This enhancement will enable you to see high-quality playback of many awesome effects without rendering first. And you’ll be able to crop your videos faster!
Additional music tracks for your videos
We’re also adding 21 brand new music tracks so that you can select your perfect soundtrack and add it to your video creations.
Five new Guided Edits
Guided Edits are the core of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements, and we’re expanding the list of available Guided Edits with five more, bringing the total to 83 Guided Edits across both apps. From basic adjustments to artistic creations, Guided Edits eliminate the guesswork from editing photos and videos with follow along steps that let you learn as you go.
New Guided Edits in Photoshop Elements include:
Duotones – Create modern duotones by applying cool, custom effects to your photos for a beautiful two-colour creation. You can choose from custom preset social sizes, add a gradient, and more!
Perfect Landscapes – Powered by Adobe Sensei, this Guided Edit teaches you to easily replace skies, remove haze, and erase unwanted objects to create epic outdoor scenes.
Move, Scale, and Duplicate Objects – It’s now easier than ever to select an object and change its position, size, and more. Follow this step-by-step guide to make your creation look exactly how you want.
For Premiere Elements, we’re adding two new Guided edits as well:
Double Exposure – This photo editing effect continues to grow in popularity, so we’re making your life easier with the double exposure video Guided Edit. Just follow the simple steps to play a video within a photo and get the best of both worlds.
Animated Matte Overlays – With this Guided Edit you’ll learn how to apply different shapes and animation styles to full videos, and select scenes or transitions to create animated matte overlays.
Automatic back-up of catalog structure
Cataloguing — albums, keyword tags, people, places, events, and more — is key to photo and video library organization. For this release, we’ve added some usability enhancements based on your feedback and are now delivering a new way for you to simply back up your catalogue structure for easy recovery, automatically.
