Ready, set, search…and browse!

Not only will the Adobe Premiere Rush library of in-app content be getting hundreds of new assets, but finding the best of the best is in the bag. With the new graphics and audio browser, finding audio, transition graphics, and animated titles will be easier than ever, so you’ll be able to spend more time creating and less time hunting for the perfect look, sound, and vibe.

New! More in-app, royalty-free audio

Getting the perfect audio for your clips has never been easier. Rush is proud to announce a partnership with Splice, who will be powering-up audio, including soundtracks, sound effects, and loops. Take advantage of hundreds of audio options to add to your clips, royalty-free. Whether you’re looking to kick things up a notch with electronica or mellow things out with classical tunes, we’ve got a soundtrack to suit your clips. Plus, you can choose from tons of sound effects to tell your story, including bells, nature, cars, laughs, cries—you name it. If loops are more your speed, we’ve got you covered there as well. You’ll have your pick, depending on the mood, genre, and feeling you want to emote in your video. The best part? You’ll never have to leave the app to get the audio you need.

Beyond audio: Transitions, Pan and Zoom, Auto Reframe for everyone

You asked, we delivered! Transitions can create drama, set the stage for a new direction, and up-level video content overall. Which is why we’ve launched three new transitions: Push, Slide, and Wipe. With more creative freedom than ever, you can choose to implement them from the top, bottom, left, or right-hand side of the screen.

Plus, Pan and Zoom and Auto Reframe are now available on all platforms. Put your camera roll to work telling your story and bring your still photos and video clips to life! Pan and Zoom can be applied with the click of a button—automatically zooming in or out of an image. Smoothly combine photos and video by adding motion to still images, automatically animating the position and scale over time. We’re looking forward to hearing from you as we continue to iterate on the Pan and Zoom feature this year.

As for Auto Reframe, you can import clips with different aspect ratios and skip the need to adjust them manually, one at a time. By selecting the desired output aspect ratio and applying Auto Reframe, you can take advantage of the feature, which uses Adobe Sensei, the company’s artificial intelligence and machine learning platform, automatically reframing your videos. Auto Reframe will identify the point of interest in the frame and track it throughout the reframed video, keeping the important parts of your shot in the frame. You no longer have to adjust clips manually, one at a time. You can select the desired output aspect ratio for your video and apply Auto Reframe to all the clips. If you want even more control over how your video is reframed, you can make adjustments to the tracking and customise the framing in the Motion Tracking panel.
