Interbrand today announced the Best Global Brands list of 2020, and we’ve made the list again, rising 12 spots to land at number 27. We’re honored to be named one of the Top Growing Brands for the fifth year in a row.

The unique challenges of this year have raised the bar for how all brands connect with their customers and communities. More than ever, brands must understand the importance of supporting their customers with a renewed sense of humanity, as the ongoing pandemic continues to result in a challenging global environment.

Adobe’s mission to change the world through digital experiences has never been more relevant or critical. The strength of our brand is a testament to our belief that by harnessing the best of Adobe — our people, platform, creativity, and innovation — we can continue to make meaningful, lasting change in the communities where we work and live.

Interbrand’s Best Global Brands list is one of the most respected rankings of brand value in the industry, ranking how well a brand is known, how well it is regarded, and how much it contributes to the company’s financial success. Interbrand’s list highlights the brands who have shown agility and resilience this year, despite its challenges, and we’re proud to be among them.

Adobe executive vice president and chief marketing officer Ann Lewnes sat down with Interbrand to discuss how and why brands are resonating in this unprecedented time. “In addition to making great products and continuous innovation, I think employees, customers, and investors are looking for compassion, transparency, equality, sustainable practices, and a commitment to creating lasting change,” Lewnes said. “Adobe’s always been that kind of company.”

At Adobe we are committed to keeping businesses up and running, students learning, creatives creating, and governments connected to their citizens. In order to do that we have implemented a number of customer-friendly programs to provide continued access to our products, partnering with other business as well as public and civic organizations to help them deliver on their mission, and giving back to the communities where we live and work. In times like this, we are reminded of how community and creativity have the power to change the world. We’ve been humbled to partner with iconic artists and creative luminaries for our “Honor Heroes” campaign, galvanizing our creative community to create art to honor essential workers on the frontline of the pandemic.

We are proud to be supporting, elevating, and amplifying underrepresented creators so that the world can see, learn, and benefit from diverse perspectives. We recently launched a dedicated platform for diverse voices, where everyone can be inspired, learn, and share their creativity. This platform also showcases the Adobe series, Create Change, which brings diverse creators together from a spectrum of disciplines to share how they’re using creativity to feel empowered and make an impact through their work.

We first landed on the Best Global Brands list back in 2009 at number 95, and we’ve been rising ever since. Find out more about what makes Adobe a Best Global Brand here.
