Why Adobe is a best employer for university graduates
Today, we are thrilled to share that Forbes has recognized Adobe on their list of Best Employers for New Grads! This is our third year on the list—coming in at number 30 out of the 250 companies recognized in 2021.
As we begin to welcome hundreds of university graduates to Adobe, we understand that many are equally excited and nervous about the start of their career journeys. But our team works hard to make the transition from university life to #AdobeLife seamless and fulfilling. Learn more about how we make this possible and hear from some of our grads on what makes Adobe a best employer.
We care about their growth and continued learning
We’ve learned that university graduates are eager to make an impact when they start their careers. And not only that, but they also want to continue learning. With Adobe’s Learning Fund, we provide funding for education and professional development programs to give employees the opportunity to invest in their career at Adobe.
As part of the Learning Fund, employees have access to financial reimbursement for higher education, certification courses, exams and short-term learning opportunities. Not only that, for our university graduates, we offer them $10,000 to put towards their student loans! School may be over, but we encourage all our employees to never stop learning.
“As a recent college graduate entering my first full-time career, it was important for me to find a workplace that provided more opportunities to learn even after college. Within the first three months of my time at Adobe, I was able to participate in the Career Management Program and leverage on-demand learning resources via LinkedIn Learning and O’Reilly to further grow my personal and professional skills. In addition, professional learning and development funds sponsored by Adobe have supported my passion for education through higher education reimbursement, certifications, training, and any other business-related resources.”

“After graduating in May 2020, I joined Adobe during COVID and my experience since has been absolutely amazing. The onboarding was seamless and I was taken care of every step of the way to make sure I felt comfortable within my work from home space. Since joining Adobe, I've had the opportunity to meet so many supportive and intelligent people here who are more than willing to help contribute to my success. I am so thankful to be working for a company that focuses on my wellbeing and success with the numerous amount of personal and professional growth opportunities available.”

Health and happiness are prioritized
Our employees are our upmost priority. And over the last year, mental health has been a top pillar of our overall employee wellbeing strategy. When graduates join us, they’ll have access to a variety of resources that are tailored to promote wellbeing. This includes our employee assistance program (EAP), wellbeing apps, wellness reimbursement, and more. Through these benefits, employees will get access to free short-term counseling, meditation apps like Headspace, and wellness dollars to spend on gyms, equipment, or wellbeing activities. We want our employees to feel their best so that they can perform their best. That is why we offer them support to get and stay well.
Communities with shared values
Through our Adobe For All vision, we believe that when people feel respected and included, they can be more creative, innovative, and successful. This is why we have a variety of ways for grads to get involved and be empowered. This includes community-building initiatives like our employee networks and interest groups, Adobe For All Summit, and volunteer opportunities. For grads who want to build community with their cohort, our University Programs team is ready to help them transition to their new setting. Within the first few months of their start date, we host a variety of events where grads can connect with each other, such as social hours and sessions where they can hear from guest speakers and business leaders.
We also host our University Summit, which welcomes all new University Grads through a 2-day interactive experience focused on easing the transition from university life to #AdobeLife. The event includes Keynote speakers, Adobe product and development breakout sessions, and community-building activities. And through all these different events and activities, we share a common belief that we are connected through Adobe’s core values—to be genuine, exceptional, innovative, and involved.
