This Pride Month and year-round, Adobe celebrates the contributions and the spirit of the LGBTQ+ community. At Adobe, we believe everyone deserves respect and equal treatment, and we have seen that creativity has the power to unite us, inspire us and create positive change.
We are committed to supporting, elevating, and celebrating underrepresented creators. Our goal is to ensure more perspectives are seen and heard, creating greater opportunities for all creators to tell their stories, leading to a more vibrant and accepting world for all.
This Pride, we are celebrating the stories of the past, present and future by tapping into our platforms, employees, and community partners to provide the space, support, tools, and resources to bring creativity from the LGBTQ+ community to life.
Adobe is launching a special series of Pride-themed episodes of Create Change, a conversational show we launched in October that brings diverse creators together from a spectrum of disciplines to share how they are using creativity to feel empowered, inspired, and make an impact through their work.
This series, made in partnership with GLAAD — the world’s largest LGBTQ+ media advocacy organization — will dive into discussions around the pressing issues facing the LGBTQ+ community, the role creativity plays in their lives, and what Pride really means to them. Check out Create Change here.
Create Change will feature Hunter Schafer (actress and artist), Wanda Sykes (actor and comedian), Bob the Drag Queen (comic and actor), Christian Cowan (fashion designer), Gogo Graham (fashion designer), Maurice Harris (visual artist and entrepreneur), Cheyne Gallarde (artist and illustrator) and Viviana Matsuda (ceramicist).
As we know, to bring more diverse voices to the table, creating a community and mentorship is critical. That is why we are teaming up with select talent from Create Change to give their time to mentor an emerging creator from the LGBTQ+ community through virtual “office hours.” By doing so, we hope to inspire the next generation and support their journey to realize their dreams.
Our social series Women Create Wednesday celebrates creativity in women. For the month of June, we will have a special Pride edition of Women Create Wednesday, featuring inspiring LGBTQ+ creators and their stories.
We also partnered with LGBTQ+ influencers Noah Camp, Wednesday Holmes and Jess Bird to create special edition Pride Packs with custom made giphys, graphics and slogans for our community to show their support through the hashtag #CreateWithPride.
At Adobe, we are proud to be a workplace with a thriving global network of LGBTQ+ employees and allies. Adobe will be hosting inspiring celebrations during Pride Month, driven by our employee network, Pride at Adobe, including a virtual fundraiser supporting GLAAD, OutRight, Transgender Law Center and Transgender Europe.
Celebrating and empowering our employees and diverse community of creators across all our channels is paramount to us at Adobe, not only creating an Adobe for all, but a society for all as well.
