Celebrating pioneers on and off the field as the Official Creativity Partner of the National Women’s Soccer League
At Adobe, we are committed to celebrating and supporting women in sharing their stories, having their voices heard, and being successful in exploring their passions.
That is why we are teaming up with the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), the premier women’s professional soccer league in the world, on a multi-year partnership to elevate stories from the pioneering women of soccer and inspire the next generation of sports fans and creators to realize their goals. We know that creativity is everywhere, and we will continue to amplify it in all forms — on and off the field.
As the Official Creativity Partner to the NWSL, the new sponsorship brings together creativity and women’s sports in a unique way to advance equity and help NWSL players and fans develop their creative skills to express their passions on and off the field. Adobe will empower all NWSL athletes through unique Brand Building Workshops, providing players with access to Adobe’s creative and digital marketing tools, personal brand training sessions, and connecting them to marketing experts, to enable every player to develop their own brand and share their stories.
Adobe and the NWSL are also launching ‘Creator Class’, an inaugural professional creativity program designed to give emerging women creators with a passion for soccer in creative fields the opportunity to earn commissions for projects. Each season through the partnership, four Creator Class participants will get exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to NWSL team and league moments throughout the season, to learn from and be inspired by creativity beyond the game, and receive $10,000USD to develop creative projects using Adobe products and inspired by their passion for the game.
"I always share my life with my fans — from my gameday moods to behind-the-scenes dances with my teammates. I’m excited to be teaming up with Adobe this season and use their amazing tools to not only make my own content even more fun, but to support emerging women creators who share their creativity.”
-Trinity Rodman, Adobe Creative Ambassador
“The remarkable athletes who play in the NWSL are some of the most accomplished soccer players in the world, but the players of the NWSL are more than just athletes,” said NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman. “They’re business-owners, parents, partners, social activists, community leaders, the list goes on. This partnership with Adobe will help our athletes tell their stories in creative ways and truly showcase the diverse and dynamic individuals who take the pitch each week in our league.”
Adobe will commission independent women filmmakers to document the Creator Class, taking a behind-the-scenes look to capture the creative process, and share the unique experiences so that fans everywhere can be inspired by their stories.
Adobe is leading the way in Creativity for All, and we’re proud to partner with organizations that share our commitment. Our ongoing work with Sundance Ignite is empowering emerging filmmakers from around the world to further their craft — our Diverse Voices platform showcases stories of underrepresented creators from a spectrum of disciplines; our Creative Residency program has supported hundreds of creators from 45 countries through resources, mentorship and grants to bring their creative projects to life; our Women Create Wednesday social series gives a greater platform to inspiring women across industries, cultures and geographies.
