The Global Design Graduate Show is an online showcase for artists & designers graduating each year

Global Design Graduate Show.

Since its inception in Spring 2020 over 15,000 graduating students from the world’s leading higher education schools/universities have been showcased to a worldwide audience.

As students find getting a break after university increasingly difficult and costs of school fees rising, there is tremendous pressure to find a job, or launch their own business. Rewind 3 years to 2020 and that pressure was even greater, as schools canceled their end of year shows and scrambled valiantly to rearrange teaching schedules remotely.

In the face of this desperate situation, Arts Thread decided to create the Global Design Graduate Show, a non-profit organization to promote the work of graduating art & design students worldwide. An online show which is open to all undergraduates and postgraduates of art and design within the academic year.

Following the success of the inaugural Global Design Graduate Show in 2020, Arts Thread has, for the third year running, teamed up with Gucci, who are the exclusive partner for the Global Design Graduate Show 2022.

The entries are judged by internationally recognized industry professionals who voted within their specialized subject to choose their favorites — this year’s panel of over 150 esteemed judges from the world’s leading brands & organizations participated in this proactive initiative.
