Each year, Adobe is proud to celebrate National Nonprofit Day, a day honoring the countless organizations catalyzing positive change in communities across the nation. As we approach National Nonprofit Day on August 17, we want to shine a spotlight on the incredible ways these organizations are using Adobe Express— our quick and easy content creation app, offered free to all qualifying nonprofits — to amplify their messages with power, pride and creativity.

Nonprofit organizations have been the heroes on the front lines of social impact for decades. Planet Forward is empowering young people to take the lead in addressing the climate crisis. For over a decade, the organization has brought together college students from across the globe to share ideas and solutions for a sustainable future that we can all participate in.

Students at Planet Forward have been using Adobe Express to create web pages that share engaging and informative stories about our planet from iguana conservation in the Galápagos to sustainable options for denim jeans. Web pages on Adobe Express give students the tools to hone their storytelling skills while making personalized creative decisions about the look and flow of their story.

BRIDGEGOOD: Training the Next Generation of Design Leaders

BRIDGEGOOD works with under-resourced students and job seekers of color to drive career and educational growth. One crucial part of their work is education and tech literacy — so it’s especially fitting that their student designers have been able to use Adobe Express to support their own learning journeys. By ideating with generative AI through generating images, templates, and more, their students have been able to produce social content quickly — up-leveling BRIDGEGOOD’s community impact and supporting their students’ career and educational growth.

Outright International: Sharing the Mission for Better LGBTIQ Lives

Outright International is an organization particularly close to my heart. For more than thirty years, they’ve worked hand-in-hand with partners around the world to strengthen and advance LGBTIQ rights on a national, regional and global level to ensure that every person’s rights are heard, respected and protected.

With Adobe Express, they’ve been able to amplify these important messages to further equality on a broad scale — like at their annual global LGBTQI human rights conference, OutSummit, and through educational content on their work with the United Nations to support Legal Gender Recognition around the world.
