Discover the future of content creation with AMD at Adobe MAX
Adobe MAX* is a show that brings together some of the world’s finest creators, technology partners, and software developers, under the auspices of a firm whose products are practically synonymous with digital content creation.
AMD is glad to be back at MAX with a range of Threadripper™ PRO workstation and Ryzen™ PRO mobile hardware, alongside hands-on and guided demos so attendees can test drive creative systems on-site. Additionally, we’ll be giving away an Asus ProArt* PX13 laptop powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI™ 9 HX 370 processor, so drop in and register for a chance to win it.
While AMD has multiple demo stations with projects that span the breadth of the Adobe Creative Cloud*, the company has a particular treat for aficionados of Adobe Substance 3D*. We’ve paired the latest AMD Threadripper PRO processors with an HP Captis* scanner designed to digitally capture physical texture data directly, via Adobe Substance 3D Sampler*. Captis is a joint project between Adobe and HP, and the system combines computer vision and the advanced material modeling capabilities of Adobe Substance 3D to blend reality and the artist’s inner vision like never before. The Creative Director of Playard Studios, Carlos Fueyo, will demonstrate how to move a project through Substance 3D, from initial material scan to final visual.
Other industry veterans will be also available to demonstrate various facets of Adobe applications. Jess Foti, aka Sylessae, will show how to paint splash illustrations and will be on-hand to discuss multiple aspects of the artistic process, from creative questions to dealing with art block.
Adobe and AMD have worked together for years, both at tradeshows like Adobe MAX and behind the scenes, implementing advanced driver and application support across both the AMD Ryzen and AMD Radeon™ product families. Whether through long-term improvements to multi-frame rendering and native graphics support or via application-specific enhancements, our software team is committed to delivering the performance, stability, and reliability that content creators rely on.
“AMD has been working closely with Adobe and Microsoft to enable and implement efficient AI pipelines for Adobe Creative Cloud* apps like Adobe Lightroom*, Adobe Premiere Pro*, Adobe Photoshop*, Adobe After Effects*, and others,” said Caixia Jiang, corporate VP at AMD. “These AI based use cases are accelerated via AMD driver resident ML acceleration libraries on AMD APU and dGPU based platforms. We do not just look at AI pipeline by itself, but we also look into the whole end to end flow of these creative cloud apps to make sure they run great on AMD hardware — lot of improvements are still work in progress for these and will be delivered via future hardware and driver updates.”
