Working Remotely? Adobe Offers Team Projects to all Premiere Pro and After Effects Users
Stay productive with remote collaborative editing
Collaborative editing is now included at no extra cost for all Premiere Pro and After Effects users. Prior to today’s announcement, remote collaboration using Team Projects was only available with a Creative Cloud for teams or enterprise license.
Team Projects is a cloud-hosted collaboration service that allows editors and motion graphics artists to work on projects together using Premiere Pro and After Effects. All you need to do is create a team project in Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects to start collaborating.
Project files are stored and saved in Creative Cloud, and are synced locally. Inside Premiere Pro or After Effects, you can see who else is in the project. Sequence locking ensures no one else can make changes to something you’re working on and makes it easy to hand off edits between collaborators. It’s like working in the same editing room from hundreds of miles away.

What is the difference between Team Projects and Productions?
Productions in Premiere Pro is designed for multi-project workflows using shared local storage. Team Projects is built specifically for collaborative editing, regardless of each editor or artist’s locations. Assets can be stored locally with individual users; project files are stored in Creative Cloud. Please note: The two toolsets are distinct and currently cannot be combined. See this blog post for more information on Productions.
