We’re less than eight weeks away from the start of Adobe Summit 2022 — and registration for this free, all-virtual event is officially open.
And it couldn’t come soon enough.
During Summit 2021 the world was emerging from the peak of COVID-19, with massive implications for marketers and Experience Makers. The shift to digital accelerated the way we work, shop, engage, and connect, and organizations were pushed to transform.
“We’ve gone from a world with digital, to a digital-first world,” Adobe chairman and CEO Shantanu Narayen explained in his Summit 2021 opening remarks, “and there is no going back. Because today, every business has to be a digital business.”
Now, a year into this mandate, Summit 2022 will emphasize the need to “reimagine experiences.” With an eye on the right-now needs of today’s global Experience Makers, this event unites leaders, luminaries, and practitioners for three days of inspiration and actionable insights that will power the year ahead — and beyond.
Creating an exceptional experience for Experience Makers
Adobe Summit 2022 will include more than 200 sessions, interactive training workshops, and a variety of virtual learning opportunities. Keynote addresses from Shantanu Narayan, Chairman, President, and CEO, and Anil Chakravarthy, President of Adobe’s digital experience business will focus on high-level themes and topics impacting Experience Makers today. Day two will wrap with Sneaks, an attendee favorite featuring the latest innovations emerging from Adobe’s product development labs. Last year’s Sneaks was hosted by Emmy Award-winning writer and actor Dan Levy. Previous hosts have included Mindy Kaling, Tiffany Hadish, and Kate McKinnon.
“More than ever, digital marketers and Experience Makers need to be inspired,” explains Mike Stiles, senior corporate event manager at Adobe. “Adobe Summit provides an opportunity to see what the top innovators and customer experience experts are doing right now — and getting right.”
Beyond that, he says, it’s about ensuring attendees walk away with skills and insights they can immediately apply to their day-to-day jobs. “We want people to not just see what could be but understand the steps they need to take to achieve that experience, that conversion rate, that accelerated growth in their own business,” Stiles says.
Dynamic sessions for a digital audience
Summit 2022 will emphasize the new customer habits, industry trends, and technologies that are influencing how brands deliver customer experiences. Leaders from Dell Technologies, DHL, IBM and Virgin Atlantic will also lead targeted sessions, sharing their strategies for staying relevant — how they continuously revisit and reimagine their approach to customers’ real-time wants, needs, and behaviors.
Privacy and personalization will also be a key focus. As customers demand more relevant content, offers, and experiences — and as we find our way in a soon-to-be cookieless landscape — brands are searching for ways to put their audiences at the center of everything.
During Summit, marketers, data scientists, and other Experience Makers will have a chance to dive into first-party data strategies and explore ways to integrate marketing automation and AI to build robust experiences going forward.
“We’re all trying to be present in what customers want and need right now,” says Jennifer Garcia, global event marketing manager at Adobe. “At the same time, it’s important business leaders, innovators, and digital marketers are keeping an eye on what comes next — because the way customers engage with brands is changing rapidly.”
Summit’s 10 themed tracks include dozens of targeted sessions and workshops, all designed to unpack trends, challenges, and what comes next — plus how to get and stay ahead of the curve.
