Nokia Shanghai Bell Philippines, Inc. speeds connections with customers using Adobe Acrobat Sign
Working with customers in the Philippines, telecommunications equipment vendor Nokia Shanghai Bell Philippines, Inc. (NSBPH) develops the networks to connect the country and the people.
Given the size and scope of its customer engagements, NSBPH needed to find a solution to manage customer documentation requirements including review and signature of acceptance certificates by multiple stakeholders located in different parts of the country.
“We needed a smarter signature process, so we could avoid asking our customers to repeat the same tasks while making sure that we received revenue for completed projects in a timely fashion,” says Chris Hartley, project management office director.
Moving signatures from the dotted line to online
NSBPH needed a signature solution that addressed its requirements of moving from the manual signature process to a more efficient process of getting signatures electronically. This was addressed by Adobe Acrobat Sign, which has document management capabilities that allows the team to issue certificates to multiple signers at once, and where the team can see exactly where a certificate is in a document workflow and thus follow up with whomever still needs to sign it.
“Adobe Acrobat Sign has simplified our approval process with the customer and the customer has accepted its use,” says Agnes Martinez, project management office manager.
Building fast, effective workflows from the comfort of home
NSBPH started using Acrobat Sign right before the global pandemic made it necessary to rely on digital communications to move projects forward.
Having Acrobat Sign in place as the Philippines went into lockdown enabled NSBPH to receive approvals for acceptance and payment certifications, even when many internal team members – as well as customer stakeholders – worked from home.
“With Adobe Acrobat Sign, we were able to continue the documentation process of our projects despite the challenges of the pandemic and regardless of the size of our projects,” says Chengxue Lu, senior project director.
Initially, NSBPH launched Acrobat Sign for its wireless technologies project, but may likewise expand to other projects of the company.
