Photoshop users in Indonesia and Vietnam can now unleash their creativity in their native language
Adobe Photoshop has come a long way since its early days, constantly evolving to meet the ever-changing needs of creatives. What started as simple photo-editing software has now become a powerhouse of creative tools, packed with advanced features, AI-driven enhancements, and seamless integration with other Adobe products. Today, it’s more than just software — it’s a creative partner that empowers artists, designers, photographers, and creators to bring their boldest ideas to life.
We're especially thrilled about the incredible growth in Indonesia and Vietnam, two of our top markets in Asia, driven by their rapidly expanding digital economies. Based on feedback from the local communities and with Photoshop's focus on personalisation and creative expression, we're now taking things up a notch by adding local language support in these markets. This way, users in Indonesia and Vietnam can now unleash their creativity with greater ease.
A fully localised Photoshop experience
With the addition of Indonesian and Vietnamese language support, users can now use Photoshop on both desktop and web in their native language. This means they get to enjoy all their favorite tools — layers, masks, filters — along with the magic of Adobe Firefly features like Generative Fill and Generative Expand, all in Indonesian or Vietnamese.

With this update, Indonesian and Vietnamese users can enjoy an enhanced Photoshop experience with a fully localised interface, allowing them to interact with the software in a way that feels familiar and natural. They can also access localised resources across the Photoshop platform, including tutorials, HelpX, and in-app learning modules, all tailored to provide clear guidance throughout their experience and enable easier learning and adoption.
By default, new users can download the localised version of Photoshop based on their OS language settings. Existing users, on the other hand, may switch their app language preference in the Creative Cloud Desktop app to access the new language version. For a step-by-step guide on how to enjoy Photoshop in Indonesian or Vietnamese, we’ve written a HelpX article that will get you up to speed in no time.
Supercharging creativity for all
Earlier this year, we unveiled a new Photoshop with Adobe Firefly’s Generative Fill and Text to Image features, closing the gap between ideation and creation. These enhancements give creators more control, powered by the strength of generative AI.
Now, with the introduction of local language support for Indonesian and Vietnamese users, we’re furthering our commitment to making Photoshop more accessible and intuitive for creators around the world.
