Late last year, we shared an early peek at Project Concept. Since then, we’ve been working hard at getting ready to share the app with you, in our private beta. Read on to find out more.
Exploring creative directions in the age of AI, with Project Concept
It (still) always starts with an idea.
As creative professionals, our trade is in ideas. Coming up with them, sharing them, getting others to see the vision, and making them real are all part of the process.
But, the reality of work today is that deadlines are shorter, and content velocity has increased. The pressure to come up with new ideas and share them quickly is high. Aligning on the creative vision before investing time in production is a challenge for many.
“Project Concept eliminates a lot of the toil of getting on the same page with clients”
- Matt, Product Designer
Project Concept in the wild.
We’ve been working with a few artists to see how they use Project Concept. Take a look at how they used the app.
“Concept…helped me rapidly visualize images for my team when we were incredibly pushed for time. We could get the set built and costs estimated with quick tweaks to the brief. In an industry where time is money and when producers have way too much on our plate, it’s becoming an essential planning tool.”
- Shona Dutta Charlton, who used Project Concept to develop the visual direction of a short film
“It makes creating moodboards simple and helps me make decisions faster... I like using styles and compositions from my moodboards to create unique images. It’s super helpful for creating visuals for brands quickly and improving my workflow.”
- Gizem Akdağ, who used Project Concept to explore the design of a new brand
“I like how easily I can introduce my references and iterate on colors, forms, and textures to refine my vision”
- Vojtek Morsztyn, who used Project Concept to explore inspiration for furniture design from natural forms
Some of the things we’ve been working on include:
- Making it easier to direct generative AI using multiple inputs including text prompts, images or individual ingredients from images
- Features that make it easier to share and convey your creative vision like shareable canvases and artboards, and the ability to import, share and remix your work
- Integrating Content Credentials to ensure they are attached to images wholly created using generative AI in Project Concept. Like a “nutrition label” for digital content, Content Credentials provide users with important context about the image, including whether generative AI was used to create it.
- Making it seamless to bring assets into Photoshop or Adobe Express (stay tuned for more app integrations in the future).
Source, organize, ideate, edit, and showcase concepts in one place — to easily try out a variety of ideas and get to your best ones.
Shape the future: Help us build Project Concept!
