Highlighting four awesome nonprofits for Giving Tuesday

Nonprofits around the world show up every day for their communities, pushing their missions forward even when resources are tight and challenges are real. This Giving Tuesday, we’re excited to shine a spotlight on a few incredible organizations we partner with — while sharing how Adobe’s tools are empowering their storytelling and their communities.

Direct Relief

Direct Relief delivers life-saving medicines and supplies to people hit hardest by poverty and disasters — regardless of politics, religion, or financial situation. Adobe Express helped expand their reach to more people in need by allowing the staff to create high-quality, compelling, and on-brand content quickly without any prior experience.

“Storytelling and creativity are essential to our work,” says Direct Relief’s Gloria Parrish. “Our mission depends on clear, accurate communication about conditions on the ground and the impact of the assistance provided. That means translating complex logistics and health data into compelling, accurate narratives.”

Working in all 50 states and over 80 countries, Direct Relief partners with thousands of healthcare providers to strengthen fragile systems and respond fast when crises strike. In 2025, they shipped $1.8 billion in medical aid worldwide, while being awarded the 2025 Seoul Peace Prize.

DECA

DECA prepares emerging high school- and college-level leaders and entrepreneurs from around the globe for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. In 2025, DECA boasted 298,000 members across 4,252 high school and 207 collegiate chapters, with 98 percent reporting improved problem-solving and communication skills.

A key part of their career preparation work focuses on helping early leaders build a strong base in leadership communications, bringing storytelling, branding, and visual communication to the forefront. Adobe’s support has enabled more DECA members — regardless of their design background — to create polished projects, presentations, and campaigns that mirror real-world expectations through Adobe Express. This collaboration has opened new avenues for students to improve their creative skills and digital skills, including generative AI.

DECA is always looking for professionals from around the world to volunteer their time and expertise. Learn more about how to get involved.

Second Harvest of Silicon Valley

Second Harvest of Silicon Valley’s mission is literally and figuratively close to home for Adobe. For 50 years, Second Harvest has ensured that neighbors have reliable access to nutritious food, distributing to over 900 sites across Santa Clara and San Mateo counties in the Bay Area.

Storytelling plays a vital role in this work.

“Real, honest narratives foster understanding, inspire action, and honor the strength and resilience of our clients,” says Second Harvest’s Emily Sparling.

Adobe’s tools like Express and Acrobat have meant that Second Harvest can work more creatively, efficiently, and collaboratively. “Creative communication helps make complex issues relatable, uplifts clients’ experiences with dignity, and motivates people to get involved,” she says.

For Second Harvest and their communities, it’s not just about nourishment, but finding a sense of security and the joy of sharing a meal.

Conservation International

Conservation International (CI) helps people and nature thrive together. From grassland restoration in Kenya to marine protection in French Polynesia, CI partners with communities, indigenous leaders, governments, and companies around the world to keep these ecosystems healthy and thriving.

“Good stories turn science into something you can feel,” says CI’s Maureen McCarty. “Adobe tools are gamechangers for our teams. While you may never see the Amazon rainforest or a coral reef up close, storytelling can transport you to these vital ecosystems, to meet the people on the frontlines of the climate movement, and to build a connection to this important work. Adobe Express makes it easy for anyone, regardless of background, to create stunning social posts, presentations, and materials.”

In September 2025, Adobe co-hosted an event with CI and other partners at New York Climate Week, exploring how creativity and storytelling can accelerate climate action. For CI, creative communication isn’t just about spreading the message; it’s about expanding people’s sense of what’s possible. “We remind people that solutions already exist,” McCarty says, “and that protecting nature is a story everyone can be part of.”

Since 1987, CI has protected roughly 13 million square kilometers of land and sea, from rainforests to coral reefs. Their focus is simple: nature is our greatest ally in fighting climate change, and we’re racing to protect the places that matter most.
