David Carrel

David Carrel is Vice President of Global Digital Experience Marketing at Adobe, the leader in Customer Experience Management (CXM). In this role, David leads marketing for all Adobe Experience Cloud solutions, including Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Marketo Engage and Adobe Commerce. David’s team is also responsible for end-to-end demand-generation, customer, executive, and partner marketing, portfolio marketing strategy and marketing operations for Adobe Experience Cloud.

David joined Adobe in February 2021 after six years at Amazon, in a number of marketing and product leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Amazon Prime. As Director in the AWS Global Marketing organization, David led the Global Growth and Demand team and focused on building and scaling global capabilities to accelerate customers’ journey to the cloud. At Amazon Prime, David led the Global Prime Member Growth team. Prior to Amazon, he held growth marketing roles at Digitas (part of Publicis) and IBM. David started his career in start-ups and eCommerce. He holds a B.A. in History from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Marketing & Strategy from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
