Adobe Liquid Mode recognized as an Edison Awards finalist
For over a decade, Adobe has continued to create the future of digital documents through AI-powered innovation. Adobe Liquid Mode is our revolutionary mobile reading experience that runs on Adobe’s proprietary AI and machine learning. To date, more than a billion files have been read in Liquid Mode, demonstrating how indispensable this technology has become.
Today, we’re excited to announce that Edison Awards has recognized Liquid Mode as a finalist in the category of Innovative Services & Software Solutions! Liquid Mode will be further awarded a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Edison Award on April 18 at the 2024 Edison Awards ceremony in Ft. Myers, Florida.
For the last 37 years, the Edison Awards have been considered the “Oscars of Innovation,” honoring the most innovative new products, services, and business leaders around the world. Prominent global brands including DuPont, HP, Thermo Fisher Scientific, 3M, IBM, and SC Johnson have been past winners. This isn’t Adobe’s first Edison Awards recognition; Adobe Scan won a Silver Award in the category of Mobile Solutions back in 2018.
Thanks to Adobe’s proprietary AI, Liquid Mode can instantly reflow text, tables, bullets, and headers into a format that fits nicely on a small screen. Liquid Mode makes reading PDFs a delightful experience for everyone while also making digital documents more accessible for more people. And the accolades keep coming for Liquid Mode. The Edison Awards recognition follows last year’s Time Magazine Best Inventions win.
