We recently introduced the Adobe creative agent, the agentic technology powering Firefly AI Assistant in Adobe Firefly, the all-in-one creative AI studio, and the Adobe for creativity connector for Claude. The response from creators has been overwhelming — a clear signal that outcome-driven creation is resonating with the creative community and changing how creators approach their work.
Today, as announced at Google I/O, we’re expanding our partnership with Google to bring the Adobe connector to Gemini in the coming weeks. Soon, hundreds of millions of Gemini users will be able to simply describe what they want to create and have Adobe’s pro-grade tools across imaging, design, and video handle the orchestration behind the scenes — all directly in Gemini.
Picture a shop owner sketching out a campaign idea in Gemini, then quickly turning that concept into polished product mockups, social assets, resized formats, and video variations without ever switching contexts. Imagine being able to start ideating in Gemini, continue creating in Firefly Boards, and take projects further in our Creative Cloud apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and Express.
From idea to outcome — in your own words
The premise behind our creative agent is simple, even if what it does under the hood is anything but. You describe what you want to create. Our creative agent figures out how to get there — connecting the right tools, in the right sequence at the right time while checking in along the way. You stay in control of the creative vision; the agent handles the execution.
Two stories from early creators stand out in particular:
- A photographer came to Firefly AI Assistant with a set of simple portraits. What he wanted was something cinematic with richer light, stronger composition, and more detail. Instead of coordinating steps across Photoshop and Lightroom, he described the outcome he wanted and let the assistant work through it step by step, connecting the right Adobe tools, checking in for feedback, and moving forward only when he approved. The result was a high-impact image he was proud of — and a process that felt like the tool was working with him. As he put it: "I don't jump between apps. I don't make unnecessary steps. The control stays mine, but the process is much faster and cleaner."
- The second story came from a social media content creator using the Adobe for creativity connector inside Claude. He dropped a single photo into the chat and came out with every platform format he needed — Instagram, YouTube, X — without leaving Claude. When he wanted a color change midway through, the workflow updated, showed the result, and asked for approval before moving on, helping to reduce the amount of repetitive manual work. "The whole job happened in one window. That changes how I plan my day."
That last line points to something bigger: when the friction between an idea and the outcome shrinks, people don't just work faster. They work differently. They explore directions they'd never risk if being wrong meant hours of rework.
Adobe's pro-grade tools, wherever you work

We started with Firefly AI Assistant in Adobe Firefly, where the full depth of our creative agent will live — 60+ pro-grade tools from across Creative Cloud apps, workflow visibility, access to multi-model generation and more. We expanded with Adobe for creativity connector in Claude, bringing 50+ pro-grade tools directly into the surface where a huge number of creators, creative professionals and business professionals already spend their time. And now, with Adobe for creativity coming soon to Gemini, we're taking the next step toward making pro-grade creative tools available everywhere.
We're just getting started
