Building consumer trust by joining the Industry Accord Against Online Scams & Fraud

Adobe is joining the Industry Accord Against Online Scams & Fraud to strengthen prevention and protect people across the digital ecosystem.

The Industry Accord is a voluntary, cross-industry effort focused on prevention, cooperation, resilience, and public awareness. It connects existing work across companies that share a commitment to protecting people and reducing abuse across the digital ecosystem.

This work builds on Adobe’s continued progress to strengthen consumer trust by aligning engineering, AI, policy, trust and safety and fraud prevention into a single cross‑functional effort. This approach reflects the reality of today’s threat landscape, where scams, fraud, and counterfeit software operate across platforms and ecosystems, not in isolation.

At Adobe, we approach consumer protection as an integrated mission. We focus on prevention and apply responsible AI to detect and disrupt abuse so we can act more quickly. This approach helps protect people from harmful content at scale. By unifying fraud prevention and trust and safety, we move beyond reactive cleanup to proactive protection.

That work extends beyond Adobe’s boundaries. Scams and fraud are ecosystem-wide challenges, which is why collaboration across the industry is essential. We recently partnered with Microsoft and others on efforts to strengthen transparency, consent, and user protections across operating systems and platforms. These collaborations show the impact of aligning technical, policy, and operational approaches to protect people more effectively.

Adobe has always taken a proactive approach to security and customer protection. These collaboration efforts align with our broader focus on consumer trust, and we appreciate the opportunity to work alongside companies that share this commitment to keeping people safe.
